I’ve been a vassal for most of my play through and not making much progress after taking over half the map at this point. We keep fighting for castles then losing them then getting them back etc. I have become the owner of a few towns through voting but don’t seem to make any income from them. I reduced the garrisons right down but still very expensive. My caravans don’t seem to make any money either. I paid for the higher tier caravans and they make 1-2 k max which doesn’t cover my garrisons costs. I have 159 men in my party and see no way of expanding this further. If I want to take over a town or castle I have to create an army with influence which is a pain. The remaining towns have garrisons of over 1500 men and the biggest army I can get is around 1000. The other army in the clan just roams around doing nothing! What’s the next step here? Do I leave the vassal and try and go on my own? How would I with only 159 men I can’t take anything with so few men!! Help me the last few hours on game I’ve just been killing looters really bored.
