Hello,
My partner and I (We are not married) have an Apple credit card that we are co-owners on (not an owner and an authorized user). She is filing for chapter 7 bankruptcy and I am not. We have tried getting my name off the card and they will not do that. We do not have another card that the balance can be transferred to. What do we do in this situation? The card is maxed out at $4,500. I have many (12) credit cards and I'd like to not have them get closed or for my credit to take a hit. She is consulting with a lawyer but I'd like to know what Reddit thinks will happen and/or if there's any action I should take. Thank you in advance for your help!
Thank you for taking the time to answer my question.
