I am currently going through an eviction in which part of that includes a 25,000 dollar amount. I am considering filing bankruptcy during the eviction. There are damages to the house that I have asked him to repair for years that are not due to my negligence but a lack of maintenance on the property. I reasonably believe though after I move out he will try to sue me for them. If I file Ch 7 before I move out would a future lawsuit from him be exempt from discharge or can I file listing him as a debtor for all current and future claims arising from this eviction.
