I really don't know what to do to get out of the crippling debt I am facing, I really don't know how much longer we can survive it.
My wife an I have ALWAYS paid our bills without any issues. We have given to charities, churches and others throughout the years. We have great credit, this is so hard to even think of doing.
We made the decision to move to Florida in 2022. Sold one of our homes, bought the current home we living in and the 8 year old company I had seemed to be in good hands with my brother who had been running it for 2 years as I was planning to retire and hand it off to him.
A year later it's all come crashing down. My brother ran the business into the ground without me there to watch over him. We were forced to close it an sell off what little assets we had to get some money back to the bank for secured personal guantee loans. I went an got a job to soften the blow as much as possible.
We have a bad solar loan from the house we sold that we are making payments on $400 month. An RV we pay on at $900 monthly. Our mortgage for our Florida home went up Jan '24 $500 to a little north of $3000. Our rental property mortgage is $700 and we rent it for $1900 a month. Not to mention the 2 business loans for a total of $350k, monthly payments between the two would be $3200.
Together my wife and I bring in about $13,500 a month for a family of four I believe that puts us out of chapter 7??
We own 2 vehicles out right that we use to get to work and get our kids to practices etc. 2016 jeep and a 2017 Nissan armada.
I've never filed bankruptcy, don't know anyone to talk too about it that I want in my business personally.
Looking for some advice .. thanks.
