Filed for chapter 7. Opted to surrender vehicle and they won't repossess it.
Post Body

My best friend filed for chapter 7 bankruptcy. He opted not to keep the vehicle. However, Toyota who the vehicle was financed through still has not picked up the vehicle and it's been 4 months. Every time he gets in contact with them, he is told that they're noting it and their system and that someone will reach out in three to four days. Noone has ever reached out and at this point the property manager we where he is located is starting to get upset. He wants to make sure nothing bad happens to him. Does anyone have any idea what to do next? He did a little bit of research and came away with some information stating that it is possible that Toyota has deemed it to costly to repossess the vehicle, fix up the damages and attempt to resell it.
