So I got money sent from me from my parents via cashapp.
After this I tried to login to my account and it said having trouble logging you in contact support.
I called support waited on the phone for like 20 mins, the lady says it was because of suspicious activity and they would get back to me in a couple of days. Other than the call that I initiated I never received an email or any communications from them, until today when I got an email saying:
" Based on a review of your account activity, we have decided to close your Varo Bank Account and, if applicable, your Varo Savings Account. We are also terminating your access to Varo Services under the terms of the Varo User Agreement. We donβt generally provide specifics related to the difficult decision to close Varo accounts. However, please know an objective and detailed analysis of account and transaction history, along with intelligence collected from sophisticated external sources, supports our decision to part ways. Based on this analysis, we strongly believe appropriate action was taken. There is no appeal to this decision. "
Is this normal?! for example imagine if I was traveling or out of the country? I would be screwed with no money and the bank is kinda like 'uhh sorry'
