I would like to open a bank account for my 14 year old son and all of the youth savings accounts are fitted with low interest rates or fees. because of this I think it would be helpful to open an account for him that is an adult account instead of a youth one. but to do this I need to open it in my name because he (as previously mentioned) is a minor and thus can't have his own account that isn't a youth one. Is it legal if I open an account for myself but then allow my son to use it as his own, putting money in and taking it out as he pleases?
