So, yesterday, 12:09 i had someone from Honduras try to long into my Amazon account, which i blocked the entry and changed the password, then i went to sleep. Today i got an e-mail from Amazon saying my order was on its way to my adress, someone got into my account, added a business debt card that wasn't mine (but had my name on it) and ordered a luxury bedsheet from this placed called LeWinBedding. I cancelled the order, and called Amazon. I then went to the bank (First horizon, which i didn't even know beforehand). They scanned my ID and said they were going to investigate if someone had opened an account with my name it, but they said that's every unlikely since I'm in the US with a student visa and therefore i do not have SSN and therefore i cant have credit and the card was likely a cover up.
I was them told to call credit bureaus, i called TransUnion, Experion and Equifax and i got the same answer from all 3, i do not have SSN and therefore i do not have credit to freeze to begin with! Help? This seems very confusing, i came across this brushing thing, what should i do?
