I opened a U.S. bank account associated with my Canadian RBC bank account last year to receive USD payments, but now planning to move all funds and close that account due to monthly fees and since I’m no longer in the U.S.
If both U.S. and Canadian accounts are tied to the same bank, is it best for me to convert all funds from USD to CAD through the bank’s conversion? Or will I get a better conversion rate elsewhere? I’m just not sure what would be the best option and if there’s closure fees with the US RBC account if I withdraw all funds out.
