So this is a problem me and my friend ran into, one that we didn't expect to have an issue with. My friend resides in Australia, is with Westpac bank while I am in New Zealand and am with ASB bank. He was meaning to make a transaction to my account but he ran into a "bsb" number issue mismatch. New Zealand bank accounts don't use bsb from what I know so he is unable to find my account at all.

Do you know how to tackle this problem? Any alternative means of money transfer maybe? Still kinda lost about the whole thing. Any help would be highly appreciated.
