Need some help with a graphics glitch

Hi. I'm having trouble with my graphics for banished. I played it a while ago and had this problem but was able to fix it by changing a setting that's not there now (directx maybe?). When I load a world it looks like this . When I move around and close windows it looks like this . Here's my settings. These are the specs for my monitor. I think I'm running directx 9.0c but not sure. Let me know if you have any questions. I'd appreciate any help. Thanks!

Edit: I'm using an NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE graphics card, which as far as I can tell should be compatible with Banished's requirements
