So I started playing Banished last night and I'm hooked. I've finally gotten most of the ins and outs of the game down and I'm on my first playthrough where I've never had starvation or cold kill anyone and I'm stockpiling more than I'm using.

The only thing that's confusing the hell out of me is my mines. Specifically my Charcoal mine. I see the pallets of charcoal sitting around outside them, but it's not being collected. As I understand it, I'm producing charcoal but no one is storing it. I have plenty of laborers and even when they're unassigned they're not grabbing that charcoal. Is this an AI issue or am I doing something wrong?
