Hey everyone -
I'm going to be in Bangkok from Jan 11-Feb 8 so I posted on a BKK rental group and had someone reach out for me. They proposed an apartment (2 bed, 2 bath) for myself and a friend for 35k baht 7k baht @ the Grand Villa Apartments in Watthana.
The said I'd have to fill out a rental agreement that was provided by DDProperty (which seems legit... Ish), but I want to make sure I'm doing my due diligence.
The payment is to be made by bank transfer and because I won't be there earlier to see it, I'll basically get there and be moving in and will have to pay the funds from my home country (Canada). Does anyone have any suggestions on what the best practices are for rental and how I can protect myself?
Going to be back in Bangkok after March so I want to know what this process looks like and what the best way to go about it is.
Thank you!
