Beoplay EX: For my ears, the Noise Cancellation was doing more harm than good to the sound quality, so I'm much happier now listening on Neutral!

I noticed today that the ANC was doing something really weird to sounds mixed to the far right of the sound stage (possibly was happening to the far left as well, but I didn't notice it as much). In one case it was a tom drum that jumped so far out of the mix that it took me out of the song entirely. It sounded like it was echoing or being played inside of a can, far outside of the rest of the mix. I had only been listening with ANC on until today so when I shut it off and went back to Neutral this echo effect went away. What I will do now is just stick to the basic, neutral sound, and only add ANC if absolutely necessary.
