Where's a good place(without breaking the bank) to dine NYE alone without sticking out like a sore thumb? Normally I don't care about that when local, but this is a special evening where most people are not out by themselves. I feel like going to one of the special buffets or set coarse meals would have me standing out, but don't want to resort to fast food or cooking my meal at the hostel.

Any particular spot to ring in the new year for someone that enjoys music prior to 2000?

Any visually stunning things to check out at night other than the summit nightscapes and the animals in the park, that is within walking distance? Something to titillate the mind while enjoying a trip. Good bars to enjoy while on a trip?

How late do the parties go till that evening? Are there any after parties?
