Hangin out with Heffron and Guarnere

My family and I are from South Philly. My grandfather was a Korean War combat vet and hung out at the VFW a lot. When I was a kid he used to take me in there with him. I told my uncle the other day I was reading the book and he told me my Pop Pop used to hang out with Heffron and Guarnere at the VFW once in a while. I thought that was pretty cool, I wonder if I ever met them when I was a kid, he introduced me to a lot of guys so I don’t remember who I met.
