Recently wrote a twitter thread on the status of the next 150 pools. Wanted to share it here ๐๐
An update of the #Bancor 3 150 pool rollout. The initial proposal called for: "The rollout of additional pools is planned between May 29th and June 5th." As of this morning, we know that we are a matter of days away from releasing the additional pools.
2/ At the moment, there is still testing being done in our dev environment and this hasn't concluded yet. Essentially, we are looking to test the system with all the pools to ascertain that things work as expected before pushing it to production.
3/ Some folks might wonder, if we have 4 pools already live then it shouldn't matter if we add another 150 pools...right? That's correct to a certain extent, but we still want to do our due diligence because testing things properly before pushing to production...
4/ is always good practice. We don't think it's worth the risk to push the pools live before finalizing the testing. Hence why the pools will not be ready by 6/5. As part of being more transparent about the development process at #Bancor, we will be bringing back dev updates.
5/ What this means for the community is that you will see contracts, backend, and front-end related dev updates being communicated on a regular basis. For those that are developer savvy, you can always follow our B3 contracts repository:
https://github.com/bancorprotocol/contracts-v3
6/ Also, most recently we opened up our front end and you can also follow updates there as well:

We are deeply appreciative of the communityโs support while we roll out the best liquidity solution in the history of DeFi.
