A pitbull attacked my 9 month old golden retriever’s neck twice! It latched on the first time and I was kicking it with all that I had & the damn owner football tackled the pitbull, slamming his shoulder into the pit bulls chest and it wouldn’t let go until the owner put it in a headlock. He actually rolled over with the dogs and the pitbull held onto my dogs neck while they rolled, it still wouldn’t release my golden until they hit the ground on the other side. My dog sounded like a rabbit being mauled. When the pitbull let go of my dog she took off running while having diaherra. I went after her and was trying to calm her down when the pitbull ran up again, grabbed her throat and ripped her out from my hands. Again the owner ran over and choked the dog out. My dog took off and jumped into a stranger’s arms. I ran to her and the pitbull owner came over and said he’s dog has never done that before, yea right! I grabbed my dog and left with out getting his info, I was just so upset and worried.
I had to take my dog to the vet because in my car I noticed she had a deep puncture wound right over her throat/wind pipe that was bleeding and the vet said anymore pressure and it would have punctured through.
I am absolutely terrified now of pitbulls, I don’t trust them. They were breed for bull baiting, I just think they have that natural instinct still.
