How bad is it to let purge lines pile up between prints?

Post Body

So I have been doing this for a few just to see what happens. The printer does indeed sort of pile them up but given the filament hasn't changed things seem relatively ok? I dont know if maybe I am damaging the nozzle or something?

The only one thing is one time the nozzle took a chunk of the purge "pile" with It and it got embedded in the first layer. Not the prettiest but easy to clean up and did not really effect anything.

Obviously it would be ideal to remove the line every print but its a bit tedious when doing small prints with PETG as I also need to put a releasing agent on after.
