This was the last thing to replace to remedy the lidar failing. Luckily all under warranty. First I replaced the USB cable, then the lidar, then the tool head board, and finally the AP board, which finally solved the problem. I have a kickstarter X1C, if that makes a difference. The only difference I noted between components was the tool head board cable.
I'm trying to figure out how common this is and what exactly could fail on this board? (Maybe I can fix it on my old board if it's a component failure, and it happens again in the future)
