Due to life reasons, my ender is banished to a thin walled metal shed and is not handling it well when the temp dips overnight, even in an enclosure. Since it reads a temperature that is too cold it assumes a faulty thermister and refuses to even start a print.
I am looking at the P1S as a possible replacement. Can anyone speak to its performance in cold environments? Overnight dips below freezing are possible. Would I need to build the P1S its own little heated room or would it be able to bring itself up to temp and maintain it? Taking longer to get there is perfectly fine.
Would it, like the ender, refuse to start if it reads too low of a temp?
