Is it possible to add support material that starts on a vertical wall and tapers outwards to support an overhang? I'm hoping there's a way to reduce the need for support material that goes all the way down to the build plate.

Post Body
Are there any support options for starting and growing support material that begins on the side of a wall then tapers outwards to support an overhang?
I suppose that there would be some tradeoffs with scarring the side of the vertical wall, but if some rip off scarring is acceptable, it could be useful to start some scaffolding much higher up a part instead of building it all the way up from the build plate.
