Hey - I have tried googling and reddit searching without much success. I have accepted that I am an idiot and doing something wrong.
I just got my P1P with AMS. Set it up and installed bambu studio and orca slicer. In the printer tab, my AMS shows the correct filaments I actually have in the AMS. In the prepare section though, it shows slot 2 as Generic PLA.
I select the dropdown and under the AMS section it shows slot 2 as generic PLA instead of bambu PLA sparkle. I can manually scroll down and select the Bambu PLA sparkle but cannot make the prepare section see the AMS has that by default.
I tried to sync the AMS in prepare but I get the following error message
"There are some unknown filaments mapped to generic presets. Please update Bambu Studio or restart Bambu Studio to check if there is an update to system presets."
I tried downloading orca slicer instead. Same issue. I deleted the user data folders for both programs and rebooted. Same thing.
Is this normal behavior? How do I map the filaments to the generic presets?
