Old fart finally getting into 3d printing: Does one configure infill features and support in the slicer or directly model it in CAD?
Post Body

I'm an old fart with background in conventional machining. I'm quite strong with SolidWorks, but I haven't had to deal with 3d printing issues yet.

Does one usually configure the shelling and infill features in Bambu slicer?

It feels really clunky to have to design infill patterns directly in SolidWorks. Should I be exporting a STL file from SolidWorks then configure it for 3d printing using Bambu's slicer features?

I just finally made the jump and bought a P1P. It hasn't arrived yet so I figured I'd get some parts ready to go and I realize I haven't got experience shelling and infilling parts for 3d printing.
