My name is Brian, and I love going to metal shows. So far this year, I have seen Currents, Like Moths to Flames, Invent Animate, Veil of Maya, and Orbit Culture. (Loved them all, too!) I don't have any metal friends, and I'm perfectly content to enjoy concerts by myself, but sometimes it would be cool to have a concert buddy.
My moshing days are long over, and I'm not there to mess with other people. That said, I still cut loose and act a fool in my little bubble. Concerts are my escape, so I just go with the flow and have fun. I'm not a big drinker, and I might eat a CBD gummy to enhance the experience, but otherwise I'm boring and old. (Nothing against people who use *ahem* substances. Just not my thing.) I tend to leave promptly once the show is over because I'm an old man who likes his sleep. (Sometimes I'll skip the headliner altogether if it's someone I don't care for.)
So, yeah... If you're in the DC/Baltimore area and you're interested, let's talk. I have tickets to see Falling in Reverse, Ice Nine Kills, Slaughter to Prevail and Crown the Empire in July, as well as tickets for Bad Omens, Erra, and I See Stars in September.
