Are you hydrating (water)? Did you remember to eat (more than a snack. Actual food)? I want to share what I know about you to be true. Read carefully please. You have a tendency to think, think some more, and over think. It's ok, though. I have a plan. Wink-wink. You'd like a way to stop thinking and just feel. To shut off our minds. Unplug. An opportunity to not be strong, in charge, and make everything happen. It's so therapeutic, fun, freeing, and liberating to simply feel. Your happiness, wants, needs, and joy all matter. It's a huge challenge for you to say "no". You're a bit of a perfectionist and you get shit done even at the expense of your own happiness. Not, because you want to do it, but because it has to be done and done right. Your struggle is very real. You want/need help, and that's OK. It takes real courage and bravery to admit you can't do this by yourself. Take a deep breath. Slowly, in through your nose and slowly out through your mouth. Today, just took a turn for the absolute best.
Self-love/care is my number one priority daily. When I'm my best me, all those attached to, and connected to me benefit. Mind, body, and energy must be taken care of. The world needs the best version of me. I have to move, be active. Calisthenics (body weight exercises) is my favorite way to move by body. I dance too. Avid reader. Frequent rock, paper, scissor player. Music sharer, and proud dad joke teller. I often pretend I'm on 'Chopped', and I think I could beat Bobby Flay. I think cooking together is not just adorable but also an amazing way to spend quality time with your person.
The smell of the rain before it comes, and my first sip of oolong tea in the morning are two of my favorite things. I've learned to be kind and gracious with me. The world can be a challenging place, BUT I know the universe wants us to win. Along, with proper hydration and eating be nice to you.
