I've been taking some time away from the dating scene to heal from my last relationship. It was a positive experience that helped me grow and mature, and I don't regret any of it. I didn't want it to end, but it's what was best for both of us given the circumstances. I don't know when I'll be ready to be in a committed long-term relationship again, but I'm sure it will happen when the time is right.

That all being said, I'm still a guy with a high sex drive. It's been years since I had a one night stand, but they can be fun with the right person. I'm 5'9", dirty blonde beard, 170ish lbs (I've been hovering between 172 and 175 since fall started). I go to the gym three times a week and try to take regular walks. I try to make healthy choices whenever I eat, but it's tough for me to walk away from Tex Mex, dumplings, or baked goods. I turn 40 this week and I'm happier and more content than ever. There's still a lot I would like to accomplish, but I'd rather be grateful for what I have than stress about what I don't have yet. I have my sights set on becoming a therapist within the next five years.

I'm fairly dominant in the bedroom, but making my partner feel good is what turns me on the most. I like taking my time with foreplay and building suspense. Slow and passionate is my jam. I'm always open to trying things outside of my comfort zone, but I'm generally not a big fan of anything involving pain or aggression. (A little neck nibbling can be pretty sexy, though.) I'm usually good for two or three rounds, but would never pressure my partner to do anything she doesn't want to do.
