This should be a pretty good concert. I'm a violin guy, not a violinist, just a violin maker/fixer upper/sometime fanatic. So I'll be going. Nice company would be wonderful. It's at the Lyceum in Old Town Alexandria, which is a pretty interesting venue.
"Michael De Sapio, violin
'Angels and Demons'
Works by Pierre Rode, Benjamin Godard, Eugène Ysaÿe, Richard Rudolf Klein,
and Arthur Honegger"
Dress is fairly casual, although I've been with a dolled up friend giving the elderly guys heart palpitations, which was fun.
I'm a fit, nice retired guy, well behaved, all the edge rounded off. Not an asshole. I have a bit of a musical background. Would be lovely to follow concert with a stroll or coffee or something. There's a 12:30 sail on the tall ship Providence, which is a blast!!
