I have all the things one would want in life except the exquisite sense of urgency that comes from wanting to meet someone new upon whom you can direct your attention, imagination, and erotic energy. And then once you've found that person, the sweet ache that follows as desire mounts. I'm in a long distance marriage that is most excellent for what it is, but less than ideal for the gaps in physical intimacy.
