Does a post have to be long in order to considered a great post? While I'd like to craft this post into the masterpiece it could be, at the same time, I'd like this to be short and sweet. Decisions, decisions. And how hard is it to come up with a good title? Even harder for guys I think because even well-intentioned titles can easily sound like they're coming from a creep. Eh ... well, I'll just stick with my favorite title for this one ... even though this post is completely different in content. I feel like if you get the reference, that's a good start. And even if you don't, well, I think it sounds nice. :)
But I digress. So why am I here? It's a long story ... but in short after my deadbedroom marriage improved over the past several years, we've hit a new rock bottom. Not at the depths it once was, but it's clear that any love, affection, and (to be frank) sex is going to have to come from elsewhere.
I had been expanding my search to include something online ... but yeah, the opportunity to have sex on a regular basis has turned out to be a must.
And while I've tried not to describe "my type" here, I feel there's one thing I have to stick to ... and that's a pretty face. Of course, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I think if you at least think you're relatively pretty, that's a good start. Body type is secondary ... when it comes to physical appearance. Ethnicity doesn't matter (I'm Asian, FYI).
What about personality? Well, based on what I've observed and from what I know about myself as a guy, I think the women out there should be aware that it's really the physical that draws a guy first.
Not to say that the physical doesn't matter to women. But from my observations women care much more about what's underneath the hood than men do.
That said, I guess in order to get responses here I have to pop my hood. Well, here's where I might just go ahead and "borrow" from myself (i.e., from one of my past posts):
I'm wholesome for the most part ... a Captain America, so to speak - i.e., neat, clean, well-mannered, Boy Scout-ish, no swearing, no drinking, no drugs, nice guy (I don't have a problem with those who do swear or drink. I just don't myself ... although, oddly enough, I do use a couple of swear words while chatting ... but never with my mouth ... and usually with an asterisk somewhere). This part of me (that brings me to a sub like this) is where I'm at odds with the rest of myself.
I love watching movies--animation, sci-fi, fantasy, mystery, action, rom coms, chick flicks, to name a few of my favorites. I know a lot of women talk about being attracted to tatted guys with beards. While I have been thinking about getting a single tat around my upper bicep, I don't have any tats right now. And I like being clean shaven.
I'm a very musically-inclined person. I love singing and love listening to music. Don't play any instruments though. My musical tastes are fairly broad. I like anything with good harmony and a good beat. Pop, hip hop, R&B tend to be my go-tos. Love belting out a good ballad too. :)
Also, I believe in Jesus but admittedly struggle to follow (as should be clear by my presence here). I lean on the conservative side, but I'm not your typical conservative either.
And if the physical does matter to you, I'm 5'9", relatively fit, and relatively attractive (I'd like to think I'm a 7). Because I'm Asian, I look younger than I am (people usually guess that I'm in my lower 30s).
Well, I think I laid out enough to help you decide whether or not I'm worth messaging. This possibly-short post ended up being longer than I anticipated. Although I shouldn't be suprised because I am a wordy mother bugger. :) So if you've gotten this far, kudos to you! Now drop me a line! Or at least give me an up vote? Thanks!
