Guess not too odd. I'm in my mid 30s. When I was exactly 30, I survived 2 brain aneurysms, 6 months apart. Since my left side is extremely spastic ( difficult to control) I've found ball stretching to be some relief. Not completely go away, but briefly bearable. No, of course no medical research into this πthis is all coming from what my body tells me. I'll often explain my spasticity as; your muscles are rubber bands. Stretch them out. That's what my muscles feel like 24/7. Left side being effected side. Stretching lefty, the rubber bands feel looser. Easier to control. Idk, maybe someone with medical background can explain?
