I’m looking to get my first ball python (I have had a tricolor hognose male a bit over a year).
A Facebook friend messaged me to say their daughter is looking to rehome hers for $300 (I’m assuming they mean with her enclosure as well).
These are the pictures they sent last night.
It’s not the set up I personally would want at all for my snake but would work until I could have a bioactive one ready for her. My hang up is I am not great at identifying morphs yet and I feel like it’s a rather high price for what looks like a relatively “normal” snake which I’ve seen listed for as low as like $30. I had hopes for saving up for a pied or maybe a leucistic and $300 is a decent chunk of that for not my ideal snake. However I’m always a “sucker” for wanting to take home animals if I think they are unwanted or when I see someone with improper care or just like the bare minimum. 😬
