So to give a bit of context on this. I love D&D I played both baldurs gates I play the tabletop, I'm still pretty young? I liked Pathfinder, Pillers Solasta and even DOS2
But when it comes to BG3 I just really struggle to engage with it. I love the visuals, I like the mechanics so this isnt a bug or EA critcism. It's just for some reason I really struggle to get into it. I have over 50 hours logged and 1 completed play through. But for some reason the story seems boring to me there are some highlights but I just find the characters annoying and the levels lacklustre. The combat I do find very engaging most of the time.
I'm not sure this will change after EA. Maybe its because I was so hyped prior to release this isnt to say anything against Larian who I think are brilliant and have done some incredible work but I just wanted to see if anybody else felt this disconnect to the game.
