Cheese invisible enemies, for those who don’t know

Post Body

I keep seeing people post in this sub their issues with invisible enemies, especially on HCM. For those who don’t know, there’s a trick to “see” where invisible enemies are, and it doesn’t cost any resources and can be done immediately after they turn invisible. This was present in divinity original sin 2, and wasn’t fixed in BG3. Really helps with some fights.

When someone turns invisible, their character is still somewhere close by, many times they’re in the exact same spot. All you have to do is select any character that lets you see the move line, aka where your character will go if you click on the ground to move them. Move it around until you find a spot where it looks like you could move there, but the marker won’t perfectly line up. That means there’s a character there so you can’t take up their space. This works at any range where the move line exists. You can fan it back and forth and look for warps in the line. There’s your invisible enemy. Now use an aoe attack to reveal them. Ez claps. Enjoy!

Edit: Adding @Norkash ‘s comment because it’s an even better way to do it.

“Going to add another little tip you can use. If you keybind the "ping" button then use the keybind on the invisible enemy's portrait in the initiative order, it Will ping their exact location even if they moved”

You can also let volo harvest your eye. He gives a permanent see invisibility for the trouble.
