This isn’t a point against people wanting more fleshed out content (specifically endings) for evil playthroughs in general.
It’s specifically about how people are upset about how Dark Urge endings where you embrace Bhaal end horribly for your character.
Like, have you guys met Bhaal?
Being the Chosen Bhaalspawn is not the demigod high life of sipping blood from a finely sculpted skull in your tower of evil.
The Bhaalists are a really gross and grungy murder cult of incestuous, stupid evil, cannibals living in a sewer with a disintegrating temple.
Bhaal himself is a really dumb deity. Like, Bane got tyranny and Myrkul got death, but Bhaal got murder. Y’know, the deific domain most likely to screw over everyone because you’re incapable of not murder.
I just don’t believe there’s ever a scenario in which you don’t defeat the Urge by removing it from you completely where you can get a happy ending, good or evil.
Defy Bhaal and he destroys your mind and body because he’s a murderous petty asshole. Accept Bhaal and he will destroy your mind and body because he’s a murderous petty asshole.
There’s Lawful Evil, there’s Chaotic Evil, there’s Cool Classy Evil, and then there’s the Stupid Evil that is Bhaal.
ETA: because literacy is at a dismal low, I’m not asking why you do evil playthroughs.
I’m asking why you choose the run where you are a slave to a very stupid omnicidal god to try live out any fantasy besides grungy murder hobo.
