That final sequence - whew. The running battle, the endless monsters, burning through potions and scrolls that I've been hoarding for just this moment, cursing at every missed hit (looking at you Shart), clapping at every crit (you my boy, Astarion). All of it was amazing.
But.....now it is over. 90 hours, done. There's whole quests I never saw, there's companions I never got, there's parts of the game I didn't see because of the choices I made (I went Dark Justiciar Shart so that removes a couple companions. poor Stone Lord). If I could keep going with my perfectly set up and insanely equipped characters and push on to level 20, I'd do it. I'd buy that expansion today and gladly put another 90 hours into the game.
I think I'm done? I know I could start right back up - do a full evil durge run, try out other classes, but the bulk of the game will be the same. I remember where the traps are, I remember where the ambushes are, I remember the primary beat of the game - so why replay it? I could try it on a harder difficulty I guess, but that just makes it harder - it doesn't make it a different game. There were already battles that wiped my party and I had to reload and try again, happy that I survived. I got 90 hours out of a game I spent $60 on and it gave me a TON to talk about with my sons since they play as well, but I think maybe I'm done.
If you have finished and gone again, what drew you to it? What made you start back over in the Nautiloid, even though you knew what was going to happen next?
EDIT: I didn't mention, I never seduced anyone - my run was all battle, no booty. I had a pure fighter for my Tav, plus a rogue/gloomstalker Astarion, mage Gale, and Cleric/fighter Shart (didn't help she still missed all the damn time). I never used any other companions so the feel good stuff at the end felt hollow as they all loved me but they hung at my camp the whole time.
