Bugs ruined this game for me

Post Body

So went to bed last night Halfway through act 2 on honor mode. Ive been taking it nice and slow, looting everything, planning everything, etc. I know this game has bugs but even on honor mode it possible to get around those bugs so. Well this morning I turn in my console and the game has a little "update" .

Okay

After the update I launch the game and start up my campaign. Low and behold when it starts its from when back when I was in the middle of act 1. Basically this random update this just applied caused me to lose 40 hours of my time. I don't know how this is even possible because supposedly in honor mode and according to Larian's rules I should only have one save file which means there should be no way that I should be brought back to a safe Halfway through act 1. What this yells me though is that while I'm only allowed to have one save file, apparently Larian keeps my save files, but not update them and drop me to way back when.

Suffice it to say, I'm done with this game. I don't mind spending time on a game because I get enjoyment out of it, but when when all my hard work is deleted and I have nothing to show for it, not even digital golden dice, yea, that's annoying. FYI this is not my first honor run, I have had numerous honor runs fail because of bugs and have seen people posting about their honor runs fail because of bugs. The game mode isn't viable at this point because the product isn't up to that quality level.
