Iron throne questions

So, just killed Orin, haven't been to house of hope yet, but have done everything else I think.
Should I disable the iron watch first? If I kill Gorash will it make the iron throne not timed? Trying to do things in the "right" order if that makes any sense.
Follow up, should I do the house of hope stuff before gortash? Can I?
