Moon Druids post Act 1?

So I've been playing as a Moon Druid and absolutely tore my way through Act 1. Took out the Goblin Camp and leaders with ease, Underdark was a breeze, and cleared out the whole Githyanki creche without trying that much. I've heard that Moon Druids are powerful for Act 1 but die off later on and are subpar and was wondering if that was true. If that is the case, I might just respec into a Vengeance Paladin as I'm a Half-Orc so already a good race to make good use of that class anyway but was curious.
