When should I get Lae'zel a new sword?

So in my current playthrough, I have Lae'zel on my team and I gave her the Silver Sword of the Astral Plane which I hear is one of the best swords to give her. She's made fantastic use out of it and as a new player, I was wondering how long I should let her keep the sword until I get a new one and suggestions on which one to switch out to?
