Just wanted to throw this out there for some fun discussions. I am in my second playthrough.
MC - My tav is a male drow warlock / bard (3/2). The idea is that he is a worshipper of Hadar and can commune with the outer deity through the use of instruments. I will probably respec him a few time, but he is chaotic neutral / chaotic good just because I cannot bring myself to harm the tieflings. Here are my respecs for all companions planned and executed just for some fun discussion. Love reading people's commentary on these posts.
Astarion - Eldritch Knight - I want to make use of his bite ability mid combat and I have him in some sleek albeit not amazing armor that I have dyed reddish. He has some limited abilities in magic but mostly he is just an undead tank. I was thinking of making him an oathbreaker but again, I am a kind little man by nature and cant be mean to these faux beings ever.
Shadowheart - Arcane trickster. My reasoning is you can worship Shar regardless of being a cleric. I have her maxxed out for stealth rather than just being a cleric.
Karlach - Kept a barbarian but made more unarmed oriented. Tavern brawler, and weapon hurling.
Halsin will be a nature cleric.
Jaheira will be a druid still (probably make her moon or land) but mix her up with a ranger
Gale is the hardest for me because I like a utility wizard -- but i made him a tempest sorcerer with the idea being his unstable orb has made him innately connected to the weave, but drained his capacity to control it. I have thought of making him a wild magic sorc as well.
Wyll is a vengeance paladin. might make him a healer since that's somewhat lacking in my builds.
Lae'zel has been made a way of the open hand monk. Basing her off the honor guard for Orpheus
Minsc probably not going to bother to use him at all.
Minthara cannot be recruited because i love my tieflings.
I know that I'm lacking some ranged capacity so would appreciate any suggestions.
Gimme your thoughts!
