New player here, on two PS5 playthroughs with friends - First is just me and my best friend, and the second is me, her and our other friend. On our 2 player run, we are playing on Explorer, because it's my first time, so fights aren't as terrible as my friend says they can get, and I'm having fun learning the basics. We can only bring one companion each, which isn't bad, we can still breeze through a lot of quests with the appropriate companion in tow.
On our 3 player run, we are running on Balanced, since I have a better idea of what we are doing, and maaaan, are we on the struggle bus without that 2 proficiency on rolls LOL. Fights are a lot more "edge of your seat" and we make sure we all have a good stack or two of potions to hurl at each other. We are limited to just one companion as well in most situations. It's fun though and I do enjoy a challenge without the 2 proficiency to rolls, but each of us getting a companion is really missed.
It would be cool if Larian could add a toggle similar to Party Limit Begone for both PC and PlayStation to have multiple companions with you if you play with friends. Maybe limit it to one companion per player, or if that is still too unbalanced, make extra companions AI controlled.
Thoughts? (remember, I am a totally new player to both DnD and BG)
