Recruiting Lae'zel later?

Is it possible to recruit Lae'zel after the encounter with her in the cages with the Tieflings?

I failed some checks during the scene and didn't convince the Tieflings to let me handle it. I refused to kill the Tieflings as I considered them innocent bystanders, so Lae'zel called me a coward. I did get Lae'zel out of the cage, but she was aggressive to both my party and the Tieflings. I knocked everyone out, couldn't heal/wake her up etc, so just left.

Found the Githyanki raiding party, and Lae'zel was there chatting to them, but she was only level 1. First round of combat she gets killed, but afterwards I used a scroll of revivify, however, she won't talk to me, she just has idle voice lines.

Anyway, long story short, should I be able to talk to her? Will she show up again later or does something seem bugged? Can I recruit her later or is she independent now? I don't mind either way, just curious.

EDIT: For anyone curious or interested, as my comment chain below says I later found Lae'zel in the mountain pass entrance. She didn't speak to me, just walked around spouting idle lines. She walked quite far up and down the pass, but wouldn't acknowledge me.

She didn't appear in the creche at all.

When I got to the Shadow-cursed lands (coming from the mountain pass) I unfortunately found her dead body a few feet in.

Still not sure if something bugged, but, there you have it.
