Any RP suggestions for a cleric of Helm?

I really love the lore around helm, especially the whole him vs the gods trying to re-ascend stuff, and I think it's a uniquely awesome sphere of worshippers he influences.
That being said, what's a good RP route if I'm planning on playing a Cleric of his? Would it have to basically be a devotion paladin without being a paladin? Is there anything in the game I could realistically RP being the protector or ward of?
