Played 50 hours with my son but the first day we played after making it to LC the game started freezing on my pc and windows would trigger to shut down app - this happened in transitioning areas like camp or hatches.

We started a new game, flew through nautoloid and to beach, in/out of a few caves, camp and the Wither Ruins without issue.

I must have sent 30 crash reports to Larian alone and we had taken the following troubleshooting steps:

DX11/Vulkan swap

Video driver updates (they were a week old since auto-update and still had 800mb downloads!! Egads man!)

Verify files on launch (slow)

Re-install game (soooo slow)

Turn settings down from detected to custom to low

Turned on v-sync

Turned off v-sync

Enabled refreshrate cap

Disabled refresh rate cap

And Yes Roy, we Turned it off and back on again
