Act 3 was a huge disappointment in regards to the ending, companion storylines, bugs/performance, cut content. Nobody is talking about this. Larian pulled this crap with DoS 1 and 2.

After 200 hours for me yeah the game was enjoyable UNTIL I got to Act 3! I see countless comments on how bad Act 3 is on forums from Reddit, Steam, and even Larians own forums yet Reviewers dont seem to hit on Act 3. Mortismal put out a 6 or so minute video barely touching on some of the things he would like to see and that was it. I've seen games get crucified for having cut content like this in the past.
