Save-Scumming is okay or not okay?

During the discussion on save-scumming in Baldur's Gate 3 on a podcast, it was mentioned that some fans were saying that people shouldn't save-scum.
I've been following a lot of Baldur's Gate content on YT and Reddit, and haven't seen a significant number of people saying this. Most fans of Baldur's Gate 3 are understanding of people's choice to save-scum.
