So I hope that it’s cool if I just post a story instead of an actual picture or anything but I was hoping to share a funny mess up my nana had several years ago. So nana decided she was going to make an apple pie from scratch, and she did! Homemade dough, cut the apples up, cinnamon butter, top crust all looked beautiful. Put it in the oven and came out picture perfect. She called my mom crying she was so happy. Somewhere we have a picture of this pie and it was perfect! We were all drooling waiting for dessert that Sunday. Well desert came around and mom cut into the pie… and there were no apples. They all baked down into applesauce. And then nana cried for real. We haven’t forgotten and she laughs now when we ask her if she put apples in the pie.
