What's the tastiest sponge + filling combo (from my list!)

I am planning to bake a Valentine's Day cake for my boyfriend, but I'm debating on what sponge/filling combo to go for. I baked a very traditional chocolate sponge cake with vanilla filling for his birthday in December, so I'd like to try something different this time around.
I'd like to go for a lemon filling, but I don't know what to pair it with.
Here is the list of all the options/combinations possible! Can you give me your opinion on what would be the tastiest?
- Sponge: chocolate, vanilla, lemon, red velvet, marble or orange sponge
- Filling: chocolate, vanilla, lemon, raspberry jam, or caramel
