Rant: Don't You Just Hate This?
Post Body

So, I have been roleplaying with someone for a solid month now. We've been having a lot of fun and no one seems to be burnt out yet. However, something a little annoying happened recently and I want to complain about it.

I am not thinking of ending it or anything, but it has made me realize that perhaps I am more into the story than they are. This has happened a couple times now, and this time takes the cake. Don't you just hate it when it's a novella/multi-paragraph set up, someone isn't specific enough, and for several posts you both think that you're on the same page, just for the other person to come out later to say that you read one of their earlier posts wrong, when really it wasn't typed out correctly?

So, now we have to redo lots of posts. What bothers me even more is, it's something they should have caught onto much sooner since all my posts strongly go along with the notion of what I interpreted from their flawed post. As I said, not done with them, but I am feeling as though they aren't actually reading my posts thoroughly. It's discouraging me to write with them because I don't want this to happen again. I do know mistakes happen.
